PRINCETON , N.J. – The ECHL announced that the audio broadcast of the 2007 Rbk Hockey ECHL All-Star Game will be broadcast live on ESPN 910 The Team.
Mike Benton of the Stockton Thunder, Mike O’Brien of the Trenton Titans and Kevin Reiter of the Florida Everblades are the audio broadcast crew for the 2007 Rbk Hockey ECHL All-Star Game on Jan. 17 at Qwest Arena in Boise, Idaho.
Offered free of charge by the league to ECHL teams the audio broadcast begins at 8:45 p.m. ET followed by the 15th Annual ECHL All-Star Game at 9:05 p.m. ET.
The broadcast is also being carried online by B2 Networks, the “Official Broadband Broadcast Provider of the ECHL”.
NHL Radio will produce the broadcast which will feature a play-by-play announcer, a color commentator and a roving reporter who will be ice level interviewing participants and others involved with the All-Star Game as well as representatives from the American Hockey League and the National Hockey League. The broadcast will be carried live for the second year in a row by XM Satellite Radio, the nation’s leading satellite service which in 2007-08 will become the exclusive satellite radio network of the NHL. The game will be on HOME ICE XM 208 at 9 p.m. ET on Jan. 17 in the on XM Radio and in through XM’s partner, Canadian Satellite Radio. In addition to its broadcast of the All-Star Game, XM Radio regularly features the Premier ‘AA’ Hockey League on “Hockey This Morning” with Scott Laughlin heard each weekday morning on HOME ICE XM 204.
The Stingrays take to the road for two straight games at 7:30 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday at
Estero, Florida against the Florida Everblades at Germain Arena.
