registered a goal and two assists each to lead the Texas Wildcatters over the South Carolina Stingrays 6-3 before 3,086 at Ford Arena.
“We got behind early with penalty trouble,” South Carolina coach Jason Fitzsimmons said. “I don’t like the outcome but I like the effort that we displayed. There were more positives than negatives from this game and we look forward to the third and final game of the series tomorrow.”

But Sanford capitalized on a Wildcatters 5-on-3 man advantage to put the game out of reach.

South Carolina went 1-for-8 with the man advantage, while Texas converted on 2-of-7 opportunities. Wildcatters outshot the Stingrays 41-40.
