Stingrays Team Up with Pet Helpers

02/14/2007 1:09 PM -

N. Charleston, S.C. The South Carolina Stingrays announced today their partnership with Pet Helpers in conjunction with the “Dog Days of Winter” promotion.  Pet Helpers will be in attendance at the game on Sunday, Feb. 18th as the Stingrays take on the Florida Everblades at 4 p.m.

Pet Helpers will be bringing dogs available for adoption to the game on Sunday and will be located out on the concourse.  They ask fans to bring in donations in the form of new or used collars and leashes, dog toys, peanut butter for the toys, cat food, and cat litter.

et Helpers, founded in 1976, is a non-profit shelter/animal assistance organization that is funded by private donations and fundraisers.  Dedicated to ending the pet overpopulation problem in the Low Country, Pet Helpers works with people to help educate them on the problems that exist as well as try to find homes for animals in need.
