Stevenson enters his second professional campaign after appearing in 63 games with the Stingrays last season where he buried 12 points (3g, 9a). Prior to turning pro, he dressed for the La Ronge Ice Wolves of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) for four years earning 28 goals and 71 assists for 99 points in 163 games.

The Gull Lake, SK native was named SJHL Player of the Year after netting 47 points (11g, 36a) and 134 penalty minutes in 56 games during the 2009-10 season. Signed by the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League as a free agent, the 6-foot-5, 220 pound Stevenson finished third among defensemen in scoring and tied for eighth in the league in penalty minutes.
